
Modern U.S. History
This class explores the history of the United States for the last
century and a half. We will pay special attention to how economic and political
minorities gained seats at the table of the American Dream. Current issues
involving the United States around the world are compared to events of the past.

U.S. History classes will be using one of the two textbooks below for
class. These online versions provide you with opportunities to solidify
your knowledge of the material.

Syllabus
A syllabus for the first semester is now available.
Objectives
The U.S. History course follows objectives set by the county and the state
of Maryland. This chart of the objectives includes the page numbers of
the textbooks used in class as a guide. I will also be announcing
quizzes and tests based on which goal and objective that will be covered.
