Congratulations!
Photos to Benefit Hammond Dance and the Bob Gross Memorial Scholarship Fund
taught ballet, jazz, modern, ethnic and tap. All dance students have the
opportunity to perform in two dance concerts a year. Placement in Junior Company
and Company are by audition.
Spring Dance Concert: The Hammond Dance Department
presented its final concert of the school year Thursday through Saturday evenings, May 13, 14, and 15 at 7pm in Hammond's auditorium. The show was the culmination of the year's work of
the entire department's dance students from beginning dance
performance included the senior recognition.

Congratulations to Dance Company member Julie Rose, who was selected as a
Hammond High School nominee for Maryland Distinguished Scholar in the Arts. She will audition this June. Good luck, Julie!
Congratulations to the DANCE III class for their Black History Month Assembly
performance on March 19.
Caitlin Rose and Abby Slavinsky were each awarded the Maryland All-State Award at
the Maryland High School Dance Festival
held on January 8, 2010.
